Allied health documentation

## Every discipline in your practice writes its own documents.

The physio writes SOAP, the dietitian writes ADIME, the psychologist writes DAP, and **the same patient** may see all three. Each clinician picks their profession when they join, from **close to 40 disciplines**, and starts on that profession's templates. Hanah drafts into whichever structure **each clinician's template** sets.

Start on the templates Hanah ships with **for each discipline**, or bring the ones your practice already uses. The wording is yours, and Hanah **drafts into it**.

See the documents

### Notes in each discipline's format

Physios, OTs and podiatrists write in **SOAP**, dietitians in **ADIME**, and psychologists and social workers in **DAP**. Each clinician also picks a register: shorthand, standard or **full prose**.

### Letters to the GP

Hanah drafts a letter from one visit or from several over a period, such as the **last 30 days** or three months. That covers the report a GP needs after the first and last service under a **GP chronic condition management plan**.

### NDIS, insurer and funder forms

Upload the Word document or **fillable PDF** you already use and Hanah fills it from the session. **Signature fields** are left for you.

### Templates for the work you do

You can build your own, such as a **vestibular assessment** or a **dysphagia management plan**. Each template shows who created it, and a new clinician can use the **practice's templates** or build their own.

### One record per patient

The patient belongs to the practice. Each clinician who sees them joins their **care team**, and the patient sees each member's **name and profession** on their care plan.

### Care plans for each discipline

Physios and exercise physiologists send **exercise programs**, OTs a daily living plan, dietitians **recipe cards** and speech pathologists home practice. The patient opens each one in the **Hanah app**.

Deep practice management integration

## Hanah works inside the software your practice already runs on.

Hanah embeds right into your practice management system in the browser — record on the patient page you already have open, and the finished note lands in that patient's chart. No second tab, no double entry, no migration.

- Sits inside your PMS in the browser — you never leave the patient you're on
- Notes go into the correct patient record, in your own template
- Two-way sync where your system offers an API — connect in minutes with a secure key
- Patient history stays where it is — your PMS remains the source of truth

On a different system? Hanah still runs — notes, patient engagement and insights all work standalone while we build your integration. [Tell us which system you use →](#demo)

Common questions

## What Hanah is, in plain terms.

Does Hanah have templates for my discipline?

Each clinician picks their discipline when they join, and Hanah sets up starter templates for it. Formats include SOAP, ADIME for dietitians and diabetes educators, and DAP for psychologists, counsellors, social workers and art and music therapists, alongside referral letters. Starter sets cover disciplines including speech pathology, exercise physiology, audiology, optometry, pharmacy and myofunctional therapy; any other discipline starts from a general allied health set of initial assessment, progress note, referral letter and discharge summary. You can edit any template or add your own.

Can one practice use Hanah across different disciplines?

Yes. Because each clinician starts from their own discipline's templates and care plan, a physiotherapist, a dietitian and a psychologist in the same practice each write in the format their profession uses.

What is Hanah?

Hanah is a platform for modern health practices, and it starts with an AI scribe. The scribe drafts your notes, letters and referrals from the consult, and it runs standalone in your web browser or on iPhone, iPad and Android, with nothing to migrate. It doesn't need a practice management system or the browser extension. If your practice uses [Cliniko](https://hanah.health/cliniko/), [Halaxy](https://hanah.health/halaxy/), [Nookal](https://hanah.health/nookal/) or [Zanda](https://hanah.health/zanda/), the optional Hanah browser extension puts the scribe inside it and sends each note to the right patient record. Care plans and a patient app that keep patients on plan between visits, and analytics across the practice, are there when you want them. You don't need either to use the scribe.

Is Hanah an AI scribe?

Yes. Hanah's AI scribe drafts your notes, referrals and care plans from the consult, in your own voice, and it can be the only part of Hanah you use. It runs inside Cliniko, Halaxy, Nookal and Zanda through the browser extension, or standalone if you don't use a practice management system. Patient engagement and practice analytics are in the same account if you want them later, but the scribe doesn't depend on them.

Does Hanah make diagnoses or treatment decisions?

No. Hanah helps you find and summarise information in existing notes and documents, and draft records of the findings, diagnoses and plans you provide. It supports your search for evidence within those materials and your review of the sources; it does not independently diagnose, choose treatment or decide what to investigate next. You assess the evidence, make the clinical decisions and check every draft against its sources.

Can I use just the scribe?

Yes. Record the consult or dictate afterwards, review the draft, and send the note to your practice management system or keep it in Hanah. You don't have to set up care plans, invite patients or use the analytics, and patients aren't sent anything unless you choose to send it. If you want patient engagement later, it's in the same account, with nothing to move across.

Who is Hanah for?

Hanah is built for allied health, GP, and specialist practices — from solo practitioners to multi-clinician groups — and the owners, managers, and clinicians who run them.

Where is my data stored, and is Hanah secure?

Patient records are stored in Australia, the UK or the US. New Zealand practices are served from Australia, and we also serve practices in Europe. Our data processing agreement lists which regions each step happens in. Bank-level encryption, and no model training on patient data. The regional Trust Centers list the full controls.

How quickly can a practice get started?

About 10 minutes to onboard each clinician. Most practices have the scribe live in week one and patient engagement switched on by week two.

We'll walk through the scribe, the patient app, and the practice dashboard on your actual workflow — not a sandbox.
