# Heidi Health alternatives for allied health (2026)

Allied health practices looking for a Heidi Health alternative in 2026 can choose a standalone AI scribe, such as [Hanah](https://hanah.health/allied-health/), Grounded Scribe, Lyrebird Health or Freed. They can also use the scribe built into the practice software they already run: Halaxy AI Scribe, Zanda's BizzyAI, Nookal's AI + Voice or splose AI.

## Heidi's plans and integrations

Heidi Health is an AI medical scribe with a free plan. On its [Australian pricing page](https://www.heidihealth.com/en-au/pricing), Clinician is A$120 a month, or A$85 a month billed annually. Practice is A$130 a seat a month, billed annually, and is the plan with team template sharing.

Heidi lists [Cliniko](https://www.heidihealth.com/en-au/integrations/cliniko), [Halaxy](https://www.heidihealth.com/en-au/integrations/halaxy) and [Nookal](https://www.heidihealth.com/en-au/integrations/nookal) among its integrations. The same pricing table shows EHR integration as unavailable on Free and Clinician, and as an add-on on Practice. Heidi's Cliniko page says that integration is available on Practice and Enterprise. A solo clinician who wants notes filed into their PMS needs Practice with the add-on, or Enterprise.

## Standalone scribes

### Hanah

Hanah is an AI medical scribe. It drafts notes, letters and referrals in your own templates, and the clinician reviews every draft before anything is filed.

Hanah works inside [Cliniko](https://hanah.health/cliniko/), [Halaxy](https://hanah.health/halaxy/), [Nookal](https://hanah.health/nookal/) and [Zanda](https://hanah.health/zanda/) through the Hanah browser extension. With a Cliniko or Nookal API key, appointments sync and notes file into the patient record. Practices without a PMS use Hanah on its own.

After the consult, Hanah drafts the care plan or home program, and the clinician can send it to the patient through the Hanah app. Consults in other languages, Mandarin for example, are transcribed and drafted as well.

We publish a standing [accuracy and hallucination report](https://hanah.health/au/trust/transparency/?from=blog) with the method behind it. The Australian word error rate is 1.6%. Records are stored in Australia, the UK or the US, and Hanah never trains models on patient data.

The [Practice plan](https://hanah.health/pricing/) is A$100 per practitioner a month, or A$80 billed annually, with the integrations included. It starts with a 1-month free trial and no card. ### Grounded Scribe

Grounded Scribe is an Australian scribe. Its [integrations page](https://www.groundedscribe.com/integrations) lists Cliniko, Halaxy and Nookal, with note pushing, and says all integrations are included free.

Its [pricing page](https://www.groundedscribe.com/pricing) meters sessions per month, with prices excluding GST. Free is 10 sessions. Plus is A$19 for 30, Core A$39 for 60 and Pro A$69 for 120. Max is A$99 a month for unlimited sessions, or A$1,069 a year. Custom templates are capped at 5, 10 and 25 below Max.

Its plans fit a practitioner on Cliniko, Halaxy or Nookal with a steady monthly session count.

### Lyrebird Health

Lyrebird is an Australian scribe. Its [pricing page](https://www.lyrebirdhealth.com/au/pricing) has a free plan with 50 transcription or dictation actions and 10 document actions a month, and states "No EMR Integrations" against it. Pro is A$160 a month billed annually, with unlimited notes and documents and integrations with Best Practice, Cubiko and BetterConsult. A BP Free plan comes with a Best Practice Premier subscription.

Those integrations are general practice software, and Lyrebird's plans fit a GP clinic on Best Practice.

### Freed

Freed is a US scribe. Its [pricing page](https://www.getfreed.ai/pricing) lists Starter at US$39 a month for 40 notes, Core at US$79 for unlimited notes, and Premier at US$119 a month or US$104 billed annually. There is a 7-day trial.

Freed's [EHR Push](https://help.getfreed.ai/en/articles/11328264-introducing-ehr-push) has unlimited use on Premier, and Starter and Core get 5 transfers in total. The verified systems it lists are US ones, such as SimplePractice and TherapyNotes. Freed fits a US practice on one of those systems.

## Scribes built into your practice software

### Halaxy AI Scribe

Halaxy's core software is free. Its [AI Scribe](https://www.halaxy.com/feature/ai-scribe) uses 1 credit per 15-minute transcription, with no subscription, and saves the note to the patient record. Halaxy's [pricing page](https://www.halaxy.com/pricing) puts credits at A$0.15 to A$0.22 each, including GST. Halaxy practices pay for the minutes they record, with no monthly fee for the scribe.

### Zanda BizzyAI

Every Zanda plan includes AI Core, which has 4 AI Scribe appointments a month. [BizzyAI](https://zandahealth.com/features/bizzyai/) Scribe records the session and drafts the note in your chosen template. The AI Pro add-on gives unlimited scribing under a fair use policy. On Zanda's [Australian pricing page](https://zandahealth.com/au/pricing/) it is A$25 plus GST per user a month, on the [UK page](https://zandahealth.com/uk/pricing/) £19, and on the [US page](https://zandahealth.com/us/standard-pricing/) US$19.

### Nookal AI + Voice

Nookal's [pricing page](https://www.nookal.com/pricing) lists AI + Voice as an add-on on the Professional and Enterprise plans. It covers voice to text, an AI scribe that drafts clinical notes from the conversation, and letter generation. It is $25 per active licence a month, with usage limits, and Nookal says add-on prices vary by region. Professional is A$59 per practitioner a month.

### splose AI

splose AI is an add-on to the splose platform. Its [feature page](https://splose.com/features/ai-and-automation/splose-ai) describes real-time transcription of the session, notes drafted from the transcript, and letters from progress notes. The [pricing page](https://splose.com/pricing) lists it at A$27 per user a month, on top of the platform at A$27 per practitioner, both excluding GST. splose has announced new Australian and New Zealand platform prices from 1 November 2026.

A built-in scribe runs inside the practice software you already use and is billed by the same company.

## Choosing a scribe

Start with the system the note has to land in. Check that the scribe files into your PMS on the plan you would actually buy, and whether the integration is a separate charge.

Count your sessions. A metered plan costs less on a light list, and a full week of short appointments costs less on an unlimited plan at a flat price.

Think about the patient after the consult. If your work continues at home with exercises, a meal plan or home practice, choose a scribe that drafts that plan from the same consult and delivers it to the patient.

Check where records are stored, and whether patient data is used to train models.

Then trial the scribe on your own patients, in your own system.
