How Hanah works with Cliniko

Connect using the API key or the browser extension that puts Hanah inside Cliniko, on your patient page and where you fill in notes, so Hanah transcribes and drafts documents where you work.

Why we built Hanah

Built by a clinician who wanted patients to stick to plans, and a game developer who knows what keeps people coming back.

Healthcare should be ACE.

Great care is...

A

Attentive

Be present for your patient.

C

Continuous

Healing happens between appointments.

E

Empowering

Patients with clarity have improved outcomes.

How it works

One tool, from the note to everything after.

Most scribes stop at the note. Hanah keeps going — handling the admin in the background, from the moment you open the chart to the plan your patient takes home.

  1. Step 1 Agentic Assistant

    Walk in already prepared

Last visit's plan, open problems, recent results, and what's worth asking this time.

  2. Step 2 AI Scribe

    Press record, stay present

Every detail captured live, in any language, even mid-sentence code-switching, incroyable! All you have to do is be present for your patient.

  3. Step 3 Documentation

    The rest writes itself

The note lands in Cliniko in your own template. Referrals, letters and claim forms are drafted from the same consult — done as your patient leaves.

  4. Step 4 Care plans & recalls Patient Health Literacy

Patients stay on plan between visits

Informed and kept in the loop, with communication scanned for jargon and explained — an informed patient is an engaged patient!

    For Jordan Your visit summary

  5. Engagement

    Engaged patients come back

When the plan lives in their pocket, follow-ups get booked, not forgotten — and that loop is what turns a good visit into a lasting outcome.

Built for the practice

Scribes save clinicians time. Hanah turns that time into practice-wide outcomes.

Retention, throughput, and visibility — not just faster notes.

Common questions

What Hanah is, in plain terms.

What is Hanah?

Hanah is an all-in-one platform for modern health practices that brings an AI scribe, patient engagement, and practice analytics into one place. It cuts the time clinicians spend on documentation and keeps patients on plan between visits.

Is Hanah an AI scribe?

Yes — the AI scribe is one of Hanah's core capabilities. It drafts your notes, referrals, and care plans from the consult, in your own voice. Hanah goes further than a standalone scribe by adding patient engagement and practice-wide analytics in the same platform.

Who is Hanah for?

Hanah is built for allied health, GP, and specialist practices — from solo practitioners to multi-clinician groups — and the owners, managers, and clinicians who run them.

Does Hanah work with my PMS, or do I need one?

Hanah runs standalone — the scribe, patient app, and analytics all work without a PMS. If you use one, Hanah embeds right into it in your browser and pushes notes straight into the right patient record. Cliniko and Halaxy are live today, with more practice management systems on the roadmap.

Where is my data stored, and is Hanah secure?

Your data stays in your region — Australia, New Zealand, or the UK — with no cross-pollination between jurisdictions, bank-level encryption, and no model training on patient data. The regional Trust Centers list the full controls.

How quickly can a practice get started?

About 10 minutes to onboard each clinician. Most practices have the scribe live in week one and patient engagement switched on by week two.

See Hanah running your practice in 20 minutes.

We'll walk through the scribe, the patient app, and the practice dashboard on your actual workflow — not a sandbox.
