Hanah vs Heidi: a plain comparison

What each product is
Heidi is an AI scribe that transcribes consults, writes notes from templates, and generates supporting documents.
Hanah includes the same scribe workflow, with deep template customisation and robust multilingual transcriptions. Going beyond Hanah can take transcripts and past notes (including from your PMS) to create practice branded care plans, including meal planning, home exercise programs and outcome measure tracking.

Notes on the table
Working inside your PMS. Hanah runs inside Cliniko and Halaxy. You open a patient, the panel is already on that patient, and the note files into the note form. Every plan, including the free one, no add-on and no sales call. Heidi's integrations page lists 40+ systems, so check two things: whether yours is on it, and which plan it needs. As of writing, Heidi's own Cliniko page says the integration "is available on Heidi Practice and Enterprise plans", and its pricing table carries an "EHR integration add-on" that shows a dash against every individual plan — Free, Clinician and Practice alike. The connection is a separate purchase rather than something a tier includes.
Charging separately for the link to the system the note has to land in is a bit like being billed for the cutlery at a restaurant. The integration is not a garnish on the product; it is how the product gets used. Without one for your system, the scribe is a separate tab and the note moves back by hand.
Documents. Both products generate documents from the consult. The difference is the output format: Heidi produces text from templates; Hanah fills your own Word and PDF templates — WorkSafe forms, insurer certificates, referral letterheads — and produces the file itself, ready to review and send.
Accuracy. Heidi publishes satisfaction statistics — "97% rate document quality as excellent." We publish a standing accuracy and hallucination report with our methodology and our worst numbers alongside our best. Ask any vendor you evaluate, us included, for their measured error rates.
Pricing. Prices move, so check both pricing pages rather than trusting a blog post — including this one. As of writing: Heidi's free plan covers transcription with standard templates, with advanced templates and unlimited documents on its paid tiers. Hanah has a free Basic plan — patient portal, exercise programs, and PROMs, no card required — and its Practice plan, $100 per clinician per month ($80 billed annually) with a 1-month free trial, includes everything in the table — there is no higher tier.
The bottom line
If all you want is the note, Hanah is one of the best note-writers you can buy — and we publish our benchmarks to prove it. Heidi is a good scribe, and for a lot of clinicians a good scribe is the whole job.
We are building a different shape of thing. Heidi's product is the documentation. Ours is the workflow it sits in — the filled form, the exercise program, the outcome measure and the patient plan, out of the same consult, landing where you already work. If your problem is that the note takes too long, buy the best scribe. If your problem is everything the note is supposed to set in motion, that is what we build.
Either way, run a real trial with real consults before you commit, and hold both of us to our claims.
