Built for a physio consult

A physio consult is only partly a conversation. Much of it happens with your hands and a goniometer: ranges, strength grades, special tests, and which side you tested.

Hanah knows you're a physiotherapist from the moment you sign up, and your workspace is set up for physiotherapy from day one. Narrate as you test: "Right shoulder flexion 150 degrees, painful arc 80 to 120, Hawkins-Kennedy positive on the right." Hanah keeps each finding with its figure, unit and side, one per line, and leaves out tests you didn't do.

Hanah detects the spoken language automatically, even when a consult moves between languages, and writes the note in English. It keeps recording when the connection drops, in the back treatment room or on a home visit.

Your notes, in your format

You start with a SOAP initial assessment, a SOAP progress note, a letter back to the referring practitioner and a SOAP discharge summary. Write each in clinical shorthand, a standard concise note or full prose.

Rename headings or add an outcome measures section. Upload a WorkSafe or TAC form or your own letterhead as a Word or PDF file, and Hanah fills it from the consult. On Cliniko, Hanah drafts against your existing treatment note templates and files the note as a draft you finalise in Cliniko.

A GP Chronic Condition Management Plan needs a report to the referring GP after the first and last service (Services Australia), and DVA an end-of-cycle report after 12 sessions or a year (DVA). Hanah's starter letter follows the shape of that first report. For the last, draft one document from a whole course of care: the visits you pick and, on Cliniko, the treatment notes already there. Fast, and accurate enough to trust

Hanah streams the note onto your screen as it's written, so you're reading before it's finished, and you spend your time reviewing rather than rewriting.

If your practice runs on Cliniko, Halaxy, Nookal or Zanda, Hanah works inside it in your browser. There's no second app to run the consult in and copy the note out of.

Privacy built into every consult

A scribe hears everything a patient tells you. Hanah treats it that way:

• Your records stay in your region. Australian practices' records are stored in Australia, and New Zealand and UK practices' in their own countries. Our data processing agreement names every step that leaves the country.
• No training on your consults. Neither Hanah nor our speech-to-text and AI providers train models on your clinical data. It's written into the same agreement.
• Audio is deleted automatically. Audio and transcripts are deleted after a short retention window, and every deletion is written to a tamper-evident log. Your clinical note follows your practice's own retention policy.
• The agreement is in place from day one. Our data processing agreement covers your practice from your first session, so there's no legal back-and-forth before you start.
• Nothing becomes the record until you sign it. Ahpra expects you to check what an AI scribe writes (Ahpra). Every Hanah draft waits for your review.

Each region's Trust Centre lists every control and subprocessor: Australia, New Zealand and the UK.

One flat price for a full list

A day of initial assessments and follow-ups is a normal day for a physio. Hanah doesn't charge you for it by the minute.

Hanah keeps working after the note

Most scribes stop at the note. Your plan only works if your patient does it at home, so Hanah keeps going.

The same consult drafts a care plan your patient reads on their phone: what's going on, in plain language; the plan; what to expect, including what a flare-up means and what to do about one; and their exercise program, one card per exercise.

Hanah doesn't write the exercises. It picks the ones you prescribed from the library, Hanah's shared exercises with demonstration videos alongside your clinic's own, and attaches the sets, reps, holds and frequency you stated. If you didn't state a dose, none is added. House names work too, so "the teapot" still finds the right exercise. Film an exercise on your phone to add your own card. After each later visit, Hanah proposes new cards from what you said, each with the transcript line it came from, and nothing is added until you accept it.

The plan carries a check-in question and a "Complete" tick on each library exercise, and you see your patient's answers with dates. It can be translated into your patient's language while your original stays as you wrote it.
