Hanah for psychologists
Psychologists choosing an AI scribe want five things. It has to understand a therapy session, write the notes you already use, be fast without leaving you an editing job, protect the most sensitive records in healthcare, and cost the same however full your caseload gets.
Hanah for psychologists does all five. Then it keeps working after the note.
Built for a therapy session
A therapy session isn't a GP consult. It's fifty minutes of conversation, and what matters clinically often sits under the words: the avoidance, the shift in affect, the thing the client keeps coming back to.
Hanah knows you're a psychologist from the moment you sign up, and your workspace is set up for psychology from day one. Your notes stay factual and neutral about what the client said and did, relate today's presentation to your working formulation, and record the between-session tasks you agreed. You choose the register: clinical shorthand, a concise note, or full prose.
Hanah keeps recording when the clinic wifi drops, so a fifty-minute session is never lost halfway through.
Your notes, in your format
You start with a DAP intake assessment, a DAP progress note, and a letter back to the referring GP. Work in SOAP, BIRP or GIRP? Want a mental state examination section, or the house format your practice has used for years? Bring it. Hanah fills whatever headings you give it, and fills your existing Word and PDF templates straight from the session. We show a full example in how to write DAP notes with an AI scribe.
Fast, and accurate enough to trust
Hanah streams the note onto your screen as it's written, so you're reading before it's finished, and you spend your time reviewing rather than rewriting.
Hanah measures its accuracy in the open. Our standing accuracy and hallucination report publishes the full method, the transcripts and the grading, misses included.
If your practice runs on Cliniko, Halaxy, Nookal or Zanda, Hanah works inside it in your browser. There's no second app to run the session in and copy the note out of.
Privacy built for mental health records
A scribe hears everything a client tells you. Hanah treats it that way:
- Your records stay in your region. Australian practices' records are stored in Australia, and New Zealand and UK practices' in their own countries. Our data processing agreement names every step that leaves the country.
- No training on your sessions. Neither Hanah nor our speech-to-text and AI providers train models on your clinical data. It's written into the same agreement.
- Audio is deleted automatically. Audio and transcripts are deleted after a short retention window, and every deletion is written to a tamper-evident log. Your clinical note follows your practice's own retention policy.
- The agreement is in place from day one. Our data processing agreement covers your practice from your first session, so there's no legal back-and-forth before you start.
- Nothing becomes the record until you sign it. Every draft waits for your review.
The Australian Trust Centre lists every control and subprocessor.
One flat price for a full caseload
Eight back-to-back fifty-minute sessions is a normal day for a psychologist. Hanah doesn't charge you for it by the minute.
Hanah's Practice plan is A$100 per practitioner a month, or A$80 billed annually. It's a flat price, not metered by minutes or sessions, and the practice-management integrations are included. Try it free for a month, no card needed.
Hanah keeps working after the note
Most scribes stop at the note. Much of the work in therapy happens between sessions, so Hanah keeps going.
The same session drafts a therapy plan your client can read: what you're working on together, in language they'd recognise from the conversation; the approach you're taking; and the skills and coping strategies to practise before next time, one card each. Diagnostic labels stay out of it unless you discussed them openly. Alongside it sits a risk and safety plan that only you can see. When a later session changes the plan, the document updates with it.
That's the scribe that stays.
