Built for a mixed-discipline team

A multidisciplinary practice isn't one clinician with one note format. The physio writes SOAP, the dietitian writes ADIME, the psychologist writes DAP, and the same patient may see all three.

In Hanah, each clinician picks their profession when they join, from close to 40 disciplines, and their workspace is set up for it from day one. When a second clinician joins in a discipline the practice already has, they choose: use the practice's existing templates, or build their own. Templates show who created them.

The patient belongs to the practice, not to one clinician. Everyone works from the same record, and each clinician who sees a patient joins that patient's care team automatically. The patient sees that team on their care plan, with each person's name and profession. Add the patient's GP by email and Hanah sends them an invite.

Your notes, in your format

Each clinician starts with their own profession's library. A physio, OT or podiatrist gets a SOAP initial assessment, progress note, referral letter and discharge summary. A dietitian gets ADIME notes. A psychologist gets a DAP intake assessment and progress note, and a social worker a DAP intake and case note. A discipline without its own starter set starts from a general allied health set. From there each clinician builds what their work needs, from a vestibular assessment to a dysphagia management plan, and Hanah fills your existing Word and PDF templates straight from the session. Each clinician picks their own register: Shorthand, Standard or Full prose.

The starter referral letter is always written in full prose. A letter can draw on one visit or several: pick the visits, and your PMS appointments if one is connected, over a period such as the last 30 days or three months. Fast, and accurate enough to trust

Hanah streams the note onto your screen as it's written, so you're reading before it's finished, and you spend your time reviewing rather than rewriting.

Hanah works inside Cliniko, Halaxy, Nookal and Zanda in your browser. Open the patient in your PMS, record, and the draft fills the note form you already use. Cliniko and Nookal can also connect by API key, so the day's appointments come into Hanah and finished notes go back to the right patient. Nothing is migrated, and onboarding takes about 10 minutes per clinician.

Privacy for every record in the practice

A multidisciplinary practice holds some of the most sensitive records there are. Hanah treats them that way:

• Your records stay in your region. Australian, New Zealand and UK practices each run on their own servers, database and storage. Our data processing agreement names every processing step that leaves the country.
• No training on your data. Neither Hanah nor our speech-to-text and AI providers train models on your clinical data. It's written into the same agreement.
• Audio is deleted automatically. Audio and transcripts are deleted after a short retention window, and every deletion is written to a tamper-evident log. Your clinical notes follow your practice's own retention policy.
• The agreement is in place from day one. Our data processing agreement covers your practice from your first session, so there's no legal back-and-forth before the team starts.
• Nothing becomes the record until a clinician signs it. Ahpra expects practitioners to check what an AI scribe writes (Ahpra). Every Hanah draft waits for review.

Most scribes stop at the note. Hanah drafts a care plan the patient reads in their app, and the starting plan fits the clinician's discipline:

• Physios, exercise physiologists, osteos and chiros: an exercise program drawn from the exercise library, with sets and reps as prescribed.
• OTs: a daily-living plan covering strategies, equipment and activities to practise.
• Psychologists, counsellors and social workers: a therapy plan in collaborative language, plus a risk and safety section only the clinician can see.
• Dietitians: recipe cards for each meal, and a daily meal check-in the patient can answer with a photo of their plate.
• Speech pathologists: home practice activities.
• Podiatrists and most other disciplines: a care plan with one card for each thing the patient does between visits.

After each visit, Hanah suggests new items for the plan from what was said, and nothing is added until the clinician accepts it.
