Hanah for multidisciplinary allied health practices

For Australian allied health practices, Hanah is the scribe to use. Each clinician gets notes in their own discipline's format, the report back to the GP from the same consult, and the plan the patient follows at home. It files into Cliniko, Halaxy, Nookal or Zanda. The price per practitioner is the same whichever discipline has the longest consults.

Australian allied health practice notes

Across a multidisciplinary team you will write some mix of:

• the written report to the referring GP after the first and last service under a GP chronic condition management plan, for Medicare items 10950 to 10970, kept for two years (MBS Online)
• an end of cycle report to a DVA client's GP after up to 12 sessions or a year (DVA)
• an NDIS plan reassessment report covering functional capacity, the measures used, progress towards goals and the supports you recommend (NDIS)
• a WorkSafe Victoria Allied Health Recovery Management Plan, a fillable PDF due by the fifth consultation (WorkSafe Victoria), or an Allied Health Treatment Request in NSW (SIRA)
• an Allied Health Treatment and Recovery Plan for TAC-funded treatment beyond 90 days after a transport accident (TAC)
• SOAP notes for the physio, ADIME for the dietitian and DAP for the psychologist, often for the same patient

The rules differ by discipline too. Twelve National Boards, including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, podiatry, chiropractic and osteopathy, share one Code of conduct, and psychology has its own. Dietitians, speech pathologists and exercise physiologists claim MBS items on an association credential. The NDIS Code of Conduct binds registered and unregistered providers alike.

A generic SOAP note does not cover that set. Either the scribe drafts each of those from the consult, for every discipline on the team, or each clinician rebuilds the same templates by hand and copies the letter.

Hanah

Hanah is an all in one AI medical scribe for allied health practices. Going beyond text you can include photos and videos as part of your clinical record keeping. Each clinician picks their profession when they join, from close to 40 disciplines, and starts on that discipline's templates:

Other disciplines start from a general allied health set. The next clinician in a discipline can use the practice's templates or build their own, and each template shows who created it. Already have a WorkSafe plan, an NDIS report or an insurer form as a Word or PDF file? Hanah fills that file from the session.

The same consult drafts the report to the GP. A letter can draw on one visit or several over a period, such as the last three months, which suits the report after the last service and the DVA end of cycle report. We walk through the wording in referral and GP letters.

The patient belongs to the practice, and every clinician works from the same record. Practice admins get an analytics page showing, per clinician, how many documents Hanah drafted and how much of each draft was edited. Recording continues when the connection drops and uploads when you are back.

If you run Cliniko, Halaxy, Nookal or Zanda, Hanah works inside it in the browser. The note files into the form you already use. The integration is on the plan, not an add-on.

After a clinician accepts the note, the same consult drafts a care plan the patient reads on their phone. Physios and exercise physiologists send an exercise program, OTs a daily living plan, dietitians recipe cards and speech pathologists home practice. Nothing new reaches the patient until the clinician approves it.

Grounded Scribe

Grounded Scribe is an Australian note product. Its own allied health comparison lists more than 70 professions, profession-specific templates, NDIS report tools, and all data processed and stored in Australia. Its integrations page lists note pushing into Cliniko, Halaxy and Nookal on every plan.

Its pricing page meters sessions. Free is 10 a month. Plus is A$19 for 30. Core is A$39 for 60. Pro is A$69 for 120. Max is A$99 for unlimited, or A$89 billed annually. Those prices exclude GST. Custom templates are capped at 5, 10 or 25 until you reach Max. Teams of 5 or more get 5% to 15% off.

We could not find photos in the note or a published error rate.

Heidi Health

Heidi is a general medical scribe. Its pricing page gives a free plan with unlimited scribing on standard templates. Clinician is A$85 a month billed annually. Practice is A$130 a seat, annual only, and is the plan with team template sharing and team management.

Its Cliniko page says that connection is available on Practice and Enterprise, and the EHR integration is an add-on on Practice. Its privacy FAQ describes localised and, when needed, offshore services. We could not find a measured hallucination rate.

CliniScribe

CliniScribe is a scribe for allied health that sends notes, letters and reports to Cliniko, Nookal and Pogozo. Its pricing page is per practitioner, excluding GST, with Australian data residency. The CliniScribe plan is A$410.40 a year and includes one treatment plan a week. Unlimited treatment plans sit in CliniPlan, sold separately, or in Pro at A$777.60 a year. The price falls as the team grows.

We could not find a Halaxy or Zanda integration, photos in the note, a stated session limit, or a published error rate.

Perci

Perci is an Australian scribe with testimonials from a physiotherapist, an OT, a speech therapist and a rehabilitation counsellor. Its pricing page is A$29 per user a month billed annually for consultations, or A$67 with phone calls, with data stored within Australia.

Its own site does not name a practice management integration; Cliniko's app directory lists it as integrated with Cliniko. We could not find discipline templates, form filling, a patient plan, or a published error rate.

One price across the team. A physio with a full list and a psychologist with long sessions cost the practice the same on Hanah. Grounded Scribe's Pro plan is 120 sessions a month per seat, which is six recorded consults a day across a twenty-day month. Heidi's team template sharing sits on Practice at A$130 a seat, annual only. Hanah's Practice plan is a flat A$80 billed annually, unlimited, with the integration and the patient plan included for every discipline.

One template set per discipline. The practice owner should not be rebuilding a dietitian's ADIME template or a psychologist's DAP note. Hanah seeds each clinician with their discipline's set at signup and fills the WorkSafe, NDIS or insurer form you already have.

After the note. Exercises, a meal plan, home practice: each discipline sends the patient something different. Hanah drafts it from the same consult in the shape that discipline uses, on the same price.

Filing the note. Copying out of a second tab is how scribes get dropped. Hanah runs inside Cliniko, Halaxy, Nookal and Zanda on the plan you would actually buy. Heidi's Cliniko connection needs Practice or Enterprise.

Error rates. Ask every vendor for a measured error rate and the method behind it. We publish ours.

Record a shared patient's physio initial assessment and dietitian review under a GP chronic condition management plan. Can an AI scribe draft the GP report for Medicare items 10950 to 10970?

It can draft the written report the MBS asks you to send the referring GP after the first and last service. You remain responsible for checking it. The RACGP advises against relying on a scribe to decide whether MBS rules have been met. Hanah drafts the letter from the consult. It does not suggest item numbers.

Can it draft NDIS plan reassessment reports?
