How have the headaches been since we changed the medication?

A bit better. Still there most mornings, maybe a 6 out of 10.

And the blood pressure readings at home?
Patient
I've been checking daily. It's high in the mornings.

Let's review the diary and recheck your bloods. We'll go through the plan next visit.

General practice documentation
A patient books for a repeat script, mentions their knee on the way out, and you still have a care plan review to write up. Hanah drafts the note problem by problem, then the plan, the referral and any forms the same consult calls for.
Start on the GP templates Hanah ships with, or upload the Word and PDF forms your practice already uses. The wording is yours, and Hanah drafts into it.
The note is SOAP in clinical shorthand by default. Give the template an assessment and plan for each problem and Hanah fills each one. A section nobody discussed is left empty, and that tells you it wasn't covered.
Hanah sets out conditions and health care needs, goals, patient actions, treatment and services, allied health referrals and review arrangements, heading by heading the way the MBS asks for them.
Hanah drafts a letter to the specialist or allied health provider in full prose. It carries the history, the examination findings and the question you're asking from the consult.
You can switch on a health assessment template and Hanah fills it from the conversation. Any section you didn't cover is left out.
Build a template with your own headings, such as a mental health treatment plan with the K10 score you recorded, or upload the Word or PDF version you already use. Hanah fills it from the consult and puts your letterhead on it.
The patient reads the plan in the Hanah app: where they're starting, what they agreed to do and a check-in before their next consult. They can tap a clinical term for a plain language explanation, and patients who prefer another language read a translated copy.
Last visit's plan, open problems, recent results, and the follow-up actions you recorded — brought together for your review.
Every detail captured live, in any language, even mid-sentence code-switching.
Draft your documents, forms and letters from the findings and decisions you stated, ready for your review.
Informed and kept in the loop, with communication scanned for jargon and explained — an informed patient is an engaged patient!
Your clinician recorded hypertensionHypertension — raised blood pressure, when the force of blood against your artery walls stays higher than it should.. Your clinician prescribed an ACE inhibitorACE inhibitor — the blood-pressure tablet your clinician prescribed (perindopril); it relaxes your blood vessels so your heart works less hard., with a quick check of your renal functionRenal function — how well your kidneys are filtering, checked with a simple blood test when starting this medication. first.
When the plan lives in their pocket, follow-ups get booked, not forgotten — and that loop is what turns a good visit into a lasting outcome.

Yes. A GP starts with a consultation note in SOAP format, set to shorthand by default, and a referral letter, with a health assessment template available too. You can change how much detail notes carry, from shorthand through standard to full prose, and edit the templates to match how you write.
Yes. The GP starter library includes a plan template set out as goals, measurable objectives, planned interventions and a review date, filled from the consult. You can use it for chronic condition management plans and edit its sections to suit the format you use. As with every draft, you review and finalise the plan.
Anything you set up a template for, such as a mental health treatment plan, a medication review or a medical certificate. You write the headings and the instruction for each section, or upload a Word or PDF form you already use, and Hanah fills it from the consult.
Hanah is a platform for modern health practices, and it starts with an AI scribe. The scribe drafts your notes, letters and referrals from the consult, and it runs standalone in your web browser or on iPhone, iPad and Android, with nothing to migrate. It doesn't need a practice management system or the browser extension. If your practice uses Cliniko, Halaxy, Nookal or Zanda, the optional Hanah browser extension puts the scribe inside it and sends each note to the right patient record. Care plans and a patient app that keep patients on plan between visits, and analytics across the practice, are there when you want them. You don't need either to use the scribe.
Yes. Hanah's AI scribe drafts your notes, referrals and care plans from the consult, in your own voice, and it can be the only part of Hanah you use. It runs inside Cliniko, Halaxy, Nookal and Zanda through the browser extension, or standalone if you don't use a practice management system. Patient engagement and practice analytics are in the same account if you want them later, but the scribe doesn't depend on them.
No. Hanah helps you find and summarise information in existing notes and documents, and draft records of the findings, diagnoses and plans you provide. It supports your search for evidence within those materials and your review of the sources; it does not independently diagnose, choose treatment or decide what to investigate next. You assess the evidence, make the clinical decisions and check every draft against its sources.
Yes. Record the consult or dictate afterwards, review the draft, and send the note to your practice management system or keep it in Hanah. You don't have to set up care plans, invite patients or use the analytics, and patients aren't sent anything unless you choose to send it. If you want patient engagement later, it's in the same account, with nothing to move across.
Hanah is built for allied health, GP, and specialist practices — from solo practitioners to multi-clinician groups — and the owners, managers, and clinicians who run them.
Patient records are stored in Australia, the UK or the US. New Zealand practices are served from Australia, and we also serve practices in Europe. Our data processing agreement lists which regions each step happens in. Bank-level encryption, and no model training on patient data. The regional Trust Centers list the full controls.
About 10 minutes to onboard each clinician. Most practices have the scribe live in week one and patient engagement switched on by week two.
We'll walk through the scribe, the patient app, and the practice dashboard on your actual workflow — not a sandbox.
